Cost Buster Tip
Appliance energy savings! Cut back on the use of your clothes dryer. It is a major energy drain, and it can quickly suck heated air our of your home in the winter. Hang clothes on a clothes rack; dry and use the dryer for towels and other heavy items. Or use the winkle-release cycle for partially dry items.

Use your microwave instead of your oven whenever possible and save up to 50% in energy costs for cooking. These tips could save you up to $100 per year on electricity bills.

Home Reminder   Test your electric outlets:
Once a month test all ground-fault-circuit-interrupter (GFCI) outlets. If they fail to trip and reset, have a qualified electrician make the repairs. These outlets are required around wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchen to offer protection against shock.
